VHP – Lehigh Valley Physicians Practice - Physician (Full Time)

We are seeking a physician for Valley Health Partners –Lehigh Valley Physician Practice.  Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LA) that is dedicated to advancing the health and wellness of vulnerable Lehigh Valley community members.

Practice Overview:

• Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) is recognized as a FQHC by Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).
• An FQHC-LA is a community health center that provides comprehensive primary care and other services such as interpretation, transportation, and health education for the community population. An FQHC-LA does not turn patients away based on their ability to pay and removes financial barriers for receiving care.
• FQHC-LAs provide whole-person care, creating opportunities for the health center to go beyond the traditional four walls of medicine to address barriers that often are the root cause of poor health.
• Provide direct patient care to vulnerable populations, including underserved communities, elderly patients, and those with limited access to healthcare resources.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive and patient-centered care for vulnerable populations, including internal referrals to social services and other community resources.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes for vulnerable patients.
• Serve as a role model for medical residents, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and empathy in patient care and teaching interactions.
• Mostly Outpatient with minimum inpatient rounding
• Monday – Friday Clinic Schedule with occasional weekend rounding’s

Job Qualifications:  

• A champion for the underserved and underinsured with a passion for clinical work
• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Passionate in teaching Residents/Med Students
