Job Description: 

We are seeking a board-certified pain and palliative care physician to join our team in a supervisory role in the greater Dearborn area. The ideal physician will be board-certified in palliative care. Experience in post-acute / long-term care facilities is also useful but not mandatory. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide high-quality patient care within your field of expertise 
  • Supervise and mentor our team of healthcare professionals 
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care 
  • Participate in co-signing consultations as needed 
  • In-patient pain consults with current and new patients 
  • See 16-20 patients a day with mid-level support  
  • Contribute to our mission of preventing readmissions in long-term care facilities 
  • Periodically conduct lectures to both in-house and external nursing staff 

Requirements: 

  • Board certification in Pain Management and Palliative Care 
  • Additional board certifications preferred but not mandatory 
  • Valid medical license in Michigan 
  • Experience in long-term care facilities preferred (Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living) a plus 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and bedside manner

Schedule: 

  • 8-hour shift 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Salary based on experience and has a lucrative bonus program
