Seeking engaging Nocturnist for award-winning, integrative health system in Ohio SIGN-ON BONUS / ATT

TriHealth’s outstanding Hospital Medicine team is seeking a Nocturnist colleague to join us in Cincinnati, Ohio!

In this role you will: 

• Work 12-13 ten-hour shifts per month for a total of 148 per year (typically 9p – 7a)
• Act as attending physician of record on the night of admission for hospitalized patients in collaboration with other physicians and departments including your fellow fantastic nocturnists
• Rotate through 3-4 hospitals (2 large flagship hospitals and 1-2 smaller sites with specialist backup and direct patient transfer capabilities)
• Respond to urgent medical consults on all inpatients. Of note, codes, stroke alerts, and rapid responses are primarily managed by the separate, dedicated ICU teams at our large hospitals where the ICUs are “closed” (procedures and ICU coverage at our flagship hospitals are not required).
• Perform high-quality medical record-keeping in Epic EMR in a timely fashion
• Provide minimal and intermittent resident supervision at the flagship hospitals for a portion of the new admissions as well as admitted patients with acute needs overnight.
