This is truly an extraordinary time to join the Lehigh Valley Health Network. LVHN emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic with exceptional care providers and financial strength. LVHN is one of the nation's most advanced health networks, offering comprehensive care in 95 clinical specialties.
Practice Overview:
Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a board-certified neurologist for our tele-neurology program. This is a daytime position and does not include acute stroke calls, so it is a perfect job for a general neurologist who enjoys virtual work. Responsibilities include video consultations and follow up for inpatients in most of our more rural sites.
Neurology at LVHN has experienced significant growth and development during the last several years, and has grown to over 30 neurologists, over 20 advance care providers, and our ACGME-accredited neurology residency program, ACGME-accredited vascular neurology fellowship and ACGME-accredited clinical neurophysiology neurology fellowship. Our four neurocritical care neurologists at our hub site provide state-of-the-art neurocritical care in our dedicated 14-bed Neuroscience ICU, our epileptologists provide expert care in our new epilepsy monitoring unit, and our vascular neurologist provide 24.7 state-of-the-art tele stroke care throughout the many hospitals in our network. This new phase of growth of Neurology at LVHN is being led by Dr. Steven L. Lewis, Editor-in-Chief of Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology.
