Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is  seeking a Gastroenterologist, to compliment a very busy in/out patient service at it's newest training site. The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus partnered with TTUHSC in developing a new set of clinical and educational programs. As core faculty, the Gastroenterologist will interact with learners, that include medical students and residents from a very young 10-10-10 program. These opportunities will play a significant role in adressing the health disparities of this region, while simultaneously training physician leaders of tomorrow.

The position requires:  

• M.D. / D.O.
• Licensed in Texas or eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Texas
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
• Experience and/or demonstrated interest in teaching students and residents
• Must be Board certified or board elegible at time of hire
